Springfield’s Getaway Golf Debuts
Experience global destinations right in the Ozarks at Getaway Golf, 417-land’s newest mini golf attraction.

Get into the swing of things at Getaway Golf, an upscale, travel-themed mini golf attraction that opens to the public on Saturday, May 20 at 10 a.m. Proceeds from the first 100 customers will be donated to Care to Learn.
Located at 3833 E. Sunshine St., Getaway Golf offers an immersive experience with two adjacent 18-hole courses—one focused on U.S. landmarks, and the other on international scenes.
Both courses are studded with dramatic sculptural elements depicting locations like Machu Picchu, the Leaning Tower of Pisa and St. Louis Gateway Arch. The structure depicting the latter location stands a whopping 12 feet tall and opens the U.S.–themed course.
In addition to the dramatic landmarks, which were built by Springfield company Elemoose, Getaway Golf is also home to a sleek, modern clubhouse with features including an 18-foot-long check-in counter built from locally sourced wood. There’s also an area near the clubhouse that owner John Reinart says will be used to host food trucks from time to time.
Reinart says the destination, which also offers an ADA-compliant route that weaves through portions of both courses, provides an experience unlike any other in Springfield. "I think this is something everyone is going to enjoy,” he says.
Tickets to play one course are $12 for adults and $9 for ages 12 and younger. To play both courses, tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for ages 12 and younger. During the summer, Getaway Golf is open Tuesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
