Pineapple Whip Annual Solstice
One of Springfield’s favorites is back for a little bit to just keep us holding on until summer gets here. Pineapple Whip is hosting its 8th annual Whip Solstice. This coming Friday, February 4 to Sunday, February 6 from noon—10:30pm over at the South Campbell location, 3850 S. Campbell, just north of Krispy Kreme. Not only will the classic pineapple flavor be available but a limited quantity of pints including Mango-Peach, Strawberry-Kiwi, Lemon-Berry, Grape, Orange, and Banana-Pomegranate. A walk-up window as well as a drive through will be available.
Thailand Station
You guys ready for some new Thai food? Opening this week, Thailand Station serves authentic Thai cuisine from all regions of Thailand as well as some fusion Thai dishes to keep a varied menu. With a mission to not only feed people delicious food, they’re also on an educational path to help us all understand the regions and the style of cuisine each one has to offer. This exciting new restaurant is located on 1730 E. Republic Road, Suite U, Springfield. I personally can’t wait for some pork belly dishes that I know Thai cuisine does oh so well.
Ice Cream Factory Expansion
Are you already a fan of Ice Cream Factory or just learning about them for the first time? This is ice cream like you’ve never had it before! Not only is it full of flavor but it’s fun, chunky, creamy and so, so delicious. With flavors like Gooey Butter Cake, Strawberry Cheesecake, Peanut Butter Blast or Blueberry Cobbles, no wonder they’re a crowd favorite and have a big expansion plan. Now opening a large facility in Lebanon, Missouri where they will producing more than 100 times the number of containers they are able to make now—oh and did I mention they’ll have an upscale ice cream scoop shop and facility tours? Locally, you can find them at any of our major grocery stores.
