Ramesh Shah, MD, FACS, FICS, and Heeral Shah, MD, serve patients as Joplin’s premier eye surgeons and retina specialists. This father-daughter team is fellowship trained and considers it a privilege to be awarded Best Ophthalmologist and Best Eye Surgeon, respectively. They perform cataract surgeries and laser procedures and treat retinal diseases. Both doctors teach at Kansas University of Biosciences. Dr. Heeral Shah is a co-founder of the International Society for the Advancement of Medical Retina, and Dr. Ramesh Shah is a Paul Harris Fellow of the Rotary International.
