As we head into our 13th annual #417FASHIONATION event, we want to prepare runway viewers for all that's in store—including pop-up shops, giveaways and more!

The Basics
417 Magazine's Fashionation takes place at the Springfield Expo Center in downtown Springfield. Although there are several parking options within walking distance, the most convenient is the Route 66 Parking Garage. There are more than 900 parking spots at this garage, and it's a two-minute walk to the venue. Bring cash!
What to Wear
How many times have your eyes gravitated toward an incredible outfit only for you to think, “Where in the world would I wear that?” Fashionation is your chance to go all out—dress to the nines and wear your best show-stopping get-up.
“Mix prints on prints for the perfect daring and fearless combination," says 417 Magazine fashion guru Celeste Koritz. "Or, stand out in the crowd by wearing bold colors to show off your courageous and artistic side... Whether you're a minimalistic or maximalist dresser, you have endless options when shopping at local boutiques.” Below are some of Celeste's favorite looks from participating boutiques.

6:30 PM / RELIABLE LEXUS VIP PARTY
For VIPs, the fun kicks off at 6:30 p.m. The Reliable Lexus VIP Party features a 180-degree balloon backdrop, hors d'oeuvres, drinks by Queen City Wine Dive, wax trials by European Wax Center and a lounge by Matthew A Kienstra, MD featuring the @selfiemirrorsgf. VIP ticket holders also receive early access to pop-up shops from local retailers.

This year's Best Dressed winners strut their stuff on the runway along with local boutiques, salons, models and MSU fashion design students. The Studio starts the party with sassy dance moves and fun tunes. Don't forget to make your IG and twitter profiles "public" for the night and use our hashtag, #417FASHIONATION, to see your post on the big screen! Music throughout the night is provided by Elevate Entertainment.

After Party
Head to Queen City Wine Dive for the official Fashionation after party featuring dancing, drinks and music by Elevate Entertainment! Hurry—all-access passes are almost sold out! There is a $5 cover charge.
