Show Off Your Springfield, MO Pride

We rounded up some of our favorite products that give us the warm-and-fuzzies for our hometown—because when the world’s gone weird, we need to band together, and wear our community on our sleeves.

Springfield Art Print

from Culture Flock
Illustrator Rebecca Lynn, a boomerang who recently returned to southwest Missouri, created a charmingly illustrated print depicting a bunch of local faves. There’s a lil’ bowl of Pineapple Whip, a gigantic fork, Park Central Square and more—all of which create some seriously sweet nostalgic vibes.

“Where Dreams Come True” Tee

from 5 Pound Apparel
Although there are plenty of Springfield- and Missouri-pride T-shirts for sale at 5 Pound Apparel, we love the “Where Dreams Come True” shirt the best. It’s the classic, comfy pro-Springfield banner, with its bold red sun and honestly pretty accurate slogan.

Springfield Flag Masks

from Discovery Center of Springfield, 438 E. Saint Louis St., Springfield
These black face masks have the #maskup417 hashtag on one side and the unofficial Springfield flag logo on the other, so you can show a little local pride and encourage others to do the same. Masks can be purchased at the Discovery Center front desk, but they’ve been selling out, so get on it!

Unofficial Springfield Flag

from Springfield Identity Project
Oh heck… Why slap a flag on a T-shirt when you can set one up to flutter in the wind right in your front yard? Now that’s some serious local pride right there. In addition to lots of other flag merch (such as beer coozies), the Springfield Flag site offers nylon flags with the now-quite-ubiquitous city logo in shades of blue and white.
