What three words define your personal style?
Unpredictable, uninhibited, unique.
Where do you find inspiration for your closet?
By shopping in it. My closet is an accumulation of 30 years that I have mixed and matched from around the world.
What is your favorite fashion trend right now?
The revival of men’s jewelry and dressier looks, straight lines and tone-on-tone.
Who are your fashion role models?
My parents, Tom Ford, William Holden in Sunset Boulevard, early Elvis.
What person—public figure or private citizen—would make your best dressed list?
My partner, Doug Hesterly.
What’s your signature piece?
Big watches.
If you could wear one brand or designer for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
Zara. Current fashion for everyone.
What is the most embarrassing thing you’ve ever worn?
Trying on clothes at Forever 21... and wearing them.
What are your favorite places to shop in 417-land?
Town & County, Blackwell’s, Modern Society.
What one item is on your wish list for this year?
A Cartier Santos watch. Since that won’t be happening, a bigger closet!
